21st Sanctuary

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my pages.

I am a qualified mindfulness-based stress management and  transformational performance coach and an aquatic bodyworker. I am the creator and designer of my vision for  21stSanctuary and blessed to be the current guardian of this amazing venue.

In my former professional careers, spanning over thirty years, as a barrister in the public sector working as a Senior Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service.Working professionally in such a high-pressured environment, often with extremely challenging and disturbing incidents,I was a heavy smoker at the time, using cigarettes as a prop to "help me" get through.

I stumbled upon a simple method for stopping smoking, and I liked the method so much that I became a  franchised addictions counsellor and facilitator for 15 years. I went on and formalised my knowledge and studied with Professor Stephen Palmer PhD and his colleagues at the Center for Stress Management  in both CBT and also rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT) modalities.
For the last 12 years I have been a Lecturer in Criminal law on a Post Graduate Diploma in law. I am experienced educator and have combined my skills sets to provide effective and transformational change coaching and am a qualified stress management and performance coach. My own self development  journey led me to aquatic bodywork, a unique water based experience which promotes deep relaxation and gentle joint mobilisation combined with shiatsu.I am a Level 2 aquatic bodyworker. I am also trained in mindfulness and I continually expand upon my professionally accredited counselling qualifications.

I look forward to working with you, be it to help you find your vision, refine your vision or realise your vision both personally and professionally.
